Empty Can Band to Preview New Album on Hambone’s Blues Party on WDCB 90.9 FM February 23rd
The Empty Can Band will perform songs from the new album, “Beautiful Man” live on Hambone’s Blues Party on Thursday, February 23rd from 10:00 p.m. to midnight on WDCB 90.9 FM. The band has appeared on Hambone’s Blues Party several times prior where DJ host Hambone dubbed them “the best bar band in the land”. “We are thrilled to be debuting our new material on Hambone’s show. This will be our world wide premier and we’re excited about the opportunity,” says Dave Glynn, leader of the Empty Can Band.
Hambone’s Blues Party is a lively two-hour program featuring blues with some rhythm, blues with some soul and blues with some jump. Broadcasting from the backseat of his black Cadillac parked on the corner of Jazz Avenue and Blues Boulevard, Hambone plays the best in contemporary blues and classic R&B recordings.
